Where is the Amazon Rainforest located?

As you can see, the Amazon Rainforest covers much of the Northern region of South America, stretching from the Atlantic Ocean on the East to the Andes Mountains on the West.

The Amazon Rainforest crosses the borders of eight countries: Bolivia, Brazil,Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Suriname and French Guiana (an overseas territory of France), and Venezuela.
